The first 2 of 8 possible. 3 Delaware-X eggs and 6 Silkies. Staggered hatch. I expect birds to hatch through Saturday.

They emerged from their shells pretty rapidly and are drying off right now. The kids are thrilled, since they painstakingly saved the eggs and made me incubate them.

Mine are coming early. I have one that is pipping today. Maybe I could close the hole and it would wait another couple of days?

I have 15 eggs cooking maybe one will hold off until Christmas.​
