I used one, and a LOT of sponges and wet clothes just to get it to 60. After the first pip it went to 64, and as they started hatching it raised to 65-72 without me doing a thing, and yesterday after the outage and the humidity was so high I tok them both out. I also added very warm water to my rags and sponges every few hours...that usually raised it by 2-3% anyway.
I lost another one. One of the others to hatch overnight that had the umbilical protrusion. I had tried to clean it's bottom off and gave it some water off my finger, but even then it didn't hardly open it's eyes, only minimal chirping and movement. I did the same to the other one that I have left like that and even though that ones is MUCH bigger, it doesn't have the string attached to it, and it's more yellow than red. IT also is MUCH more active than the other one had been so I am hoping it heals up. Someone posted on here about using prep H.. I may try that. For now he's in a box by himself in the brooder and I just got done disinfecting my bator...
the last egg was dead. After not hearing anything or feeling any movement I decided to pip the air sac and see if there was movement. Nothing. So I peel back enough shell to see that it had pipped the air sac and the membrane but never the shell. Looks like it may have not had enough strength to pip through the shell and then it dried out. And it was starting to smell- another reason why even though it was only a day late that I dessected it.
So that leaves my total at 9 out of 15. :-( Not near as good as when we started lockdown. What a tough time they've had though. And I am still not sure about this other one but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed!
Corny, good luck, keep us updated!!!
Also for now, since hatching is over, I am leaving my camera on the brooder for the time being so cuties can be seen there

I swear I'll do pics soon, more of my family coming for Christmas today tho so IDK when...
