Not sure what a cotyledon is. I know I have one of the black oil sunflower seeds growing but that's the only one I know what it is.
Cotyledons are the first leaves a seed puts out before it starts growing it’s “true leaves”. Cotyledons usually grow very fast and fall off quickly, and do not resemble the true leaves of the plant. They are like “test leaves“ to give the seedling some energy to grow. Btw I doubt very many people actually say “cotyledon” in real life, I just wanted to sound fancy ;). Now you know!

Lol. No, I think their close to that point though.

We dont either! Ive never heard that, that sounds cool :D

yeah chicken poop and eggshells are my total go to for fertilizing and plant growth. If you ever crack a egg for breakfast or feed the egg back and are left with a shell KEEP IT, either feed it back to them for calcium or use it for plants!
also banana peels, just cut them up small and add to garden like the rest above

I read that some of them do look like grass as seedlings 🌱

Any ideas on this one? It was growing before I planted the seeds.

peach, blueberries, and gojis!

the ones closest to the right are gojis! They still are fine, and during spring they will pop back up until winter!
