this reminds me of some scenarios in a game I used to play... they’re hypothetical questions.

If your best friend showed up pounding on your door, drenched in sweat, and you hear sirens in the background and they possibly have a bag (I forget that part, if they do or not) and wanting to come in, would you open the door and let them in??? Shut the door on them ??? Is it different if it’s family vs friend???

Second scenario....

Your friend wants to borrow your ID to get out of town for a few days, do you let them, help them make a fake, or tell them you can’t help them??

Also reminds me of a quote I saw once....

A friend bails you out of jail, a best friend would be in the jail cell with you.

My dad’s from midwestern Kansas. I suppose we are southie; therefore, the likelihood of us speaking as such is quite high.
