That is what my aunt's divinity looked like. I have her recipe but of course she followed the practice of her mother and left out part of the recipe to make sure no one could make it just like hers..

Big day today! My little brother turns 25 and my older brother presented and completed his doctorate this morning after 5 years of work! proud of both of those boys! and we now have a Dr. in the family!

Man that sounds amazing!! found a few different versions and they all sound good! One says limeade, rum, peaches, and one was with vodka and pink lemonade and iced tea? And of course peaches. Is that the one? They all sound amazing but it’s too bad I don’t drink

From pictures I’m gathering Kolachi is basically a rolled up dessert similar to cinnamon rolls before they’re cut and raised before baking.

Does Kolachi require leavening time? Can sweet yeast dough be substituted for a sourdough leavened sweet dough?

I have no idea. You'd have to experiment with that.
