Its nice that you want to help but unfortunately it is not your animal and she may not have room for a bigger cage in the dorm. She shouldn’t even have the thing and if she gets caught, who knows where he could end up! Plus she could get mad at you for trying to change things or buying stuff for him without asking. So even though it sucks, I think you might just have to ignore this. ☹ Or at least ask the owner first if it would be okay.

I know, I just feel so bad for the hamster.

I've added extra flour and water to my sourdough starter so I'll have plenty to make sourdough pancakes for breakfast tomorrow. I'm not going to do the who Christmas feast, but I'm making a big Christmas breakfast.

Sourdough pancakes - with all the fixins (chocolate chips, whipped cream, butter, maple syrup, let people put what they want on them)
Sausage cooked in apple juice
Melon
Eggs if people want them.

Yeah, I totally get it but some people get really offended at that sort of stuff you know? And unfortunately it’s not possible to help every animal. but in her case it might just be a matter of not knowing since the stores promote those cages so I think leaving some tips and also asking would be a good idea.
