Huh, interesting!! That makes sense!! Although usually when I get dehydrated I feel it cause my lips and eyes get all dry and stuff and I feel weird yet today I feel fine except being starving. I did have strong tea today too though and caffeine usually makes me way hungrier so maybe that is why too ??? Unless that’s also dehydration ? I did also eat them like 4 hours ago now too so is it possible I’m hungry again ? I’ll try the water.

I try to always wash my hands after touching animals or birds. Even the neighbor's dog -- I don't know what they have in their house or where the dog has been, so I wash my hands.
The birds are just habit by this point. Touch a warm feather, wash hands when you come inside.
I've also stopped kissing my birds... thinking about it, it was kind of a gross practice, anyway.
I do still bury half of my face in their hackles sometimes, though.
