Sure! I have two versions -- the original, and the modified double recipe.

The original:
1 cup shortening (or margarine or butter)
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon lemon extract (almond is excellent, too, as is vanilla)
Form on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, or until browned around the edges.

They're very good dipped in milk or crushed into ice cream.

I would show a picture of my Christmas tree but all of the ornaments have my family and my name on them. It is a pretty tree. It is fake because I am allergic to pine, it still sheds.
