Hmm... not sure but at least a few inches maybe ??? I don’t think it’s 6-12 as we used to skate with far less than that but idk.Okay, physics/science 101 again.... Winter ice covered waterways.
It's actually amazing how little ice it takes to support a human walking safely across a lake or pond. And be default how little ice is needed for a vehicle to drive ice.
If you had a 100lb person and a 200lb person what do you think (no cheating on 1st reply) is minimum thickness to safely walk on a lake or pond once frozen???
Maybe 2 years. It used to only bother me once in a while. Now it's pretty much constantly.Do it!!He seems cool! Your shoulder has been killing for a year!?

What is a cranberry bog?Oh wow very interesting looking and that sounds fun!!! Although a lot of people on the ice!!sorry if this is a stupid question, but do your lakes still freeze all the way? I know the Erie one hasn’t been fully freezing lately according to my cousin and uncle and I know our cranberry bogs haven’t frozen solid enough lately but we are also warmer than either of you. We used to skate on it but lately I don’t think it’s safe enough but of course it never got very thick anyway. And people do still go out so maybe it is. Maybe this year will be thicker/more solid since it is colder.
Conan eats raw broccoli.Raw veggies are my favorite way. And they are better for a person raw.

This is what I grew up with on Beadle Lake, in Michigan. We always figure 4 inches to be safe, but I know when we were young and stupid my brother and I would start spearing with about 2 inches.. then get yelled at by Dad when we got home.
