i e-mailed because i too am curious. i'll post their reply if i get one.

okay... here's my response:

=====

Thanks for your reply! I am throwing an Easter party this Saturday, and would love to "borrow" or "rent" a chick for petting, and taking pictures with, nothing more. There will be no children at this party (just adult women who love cute things), and I have no pets (dogs,cats, or anything that could hurt a chick). I would need to borrow a cage or box (whatever you usually keep them in), and whatever else the chick would need for a day (food, water bottle). I would be willing to pay you purchase price for the chick, (or whatever you think is reasonable), and would give you a deposit for the cage. I would bring the chick and cage back the next day.

My best friend wants more than anything to have a chick as a pet, and as she can't given her space constraints, we thought she could "visit" with a chick at the party instead. It would make her super happy!

Anyway, let me know if that sounds reasonable. I look forward to hearing from you!

Much better than I was thinking. Should get my mind out of the gutter. I'm thinking I'll "rent" her a couple of chicks. Could use the money.

Opinions? Think this is on the up and up?

That response makes me feel better though.. I don't think it would hurt anything.. Rent her the ones that aren't your favorites, that way if anything happens, you really aren't out anything. Plus, you got paid for it..
