So my sister gave me this cello a couple years ago. It's a nice cello. Actually, it's a great cello. It's probably the best cello, but I don't really know much about cellos. Also the neck snapped off. Of the cello. So it's really more like 3/4's of a cello, but the other 1/4's still there, it's just not attached. It's kind of like you're getting two cellos, only one of them doesn't have a body and the other doesn't have a neck. But if you stand them up next to each other it's like old times. You could probably fix it with like some music glue or something like that.

She also gave me a cello bag that I can give to you too, now that I won't have a cello. It's a really nice cello bag. You can fit everything in it. Actually, there might even be a bow in the bag, I'm not sure. I don't want you to think that there's 100% a bow in the bag. It's way over there, I can't check right now. But if it's in there it's yours.

If you're like me and you don't know how to play the cello then you could use it as a coin bank. It's hollow and there are two S's on the front that you could drop the coins through. Then when it's filled up you could drop it off of your roof or carry it around like a change purse. Ooh, in the cello bag. It'd be like a cello purse. I'd do it but I'm moving across the country and it won't fit in my car. What else could you do with it. You could saw the front off and use it as a sled. Or give the neck to a baby as like a wizard stick for Christmas. Totally give this cello to someone for Christmas. Or Hanukkah.

Please come get it. I'm in Echo Park. I'd actually go somewhere to meet you if wherever we're going is a cool place. Like the desert or something.

I'm 90% certain the bow's in there.

100% cat lol

Sadly, it does look like a scared cat hiding under a bed which someone is holding up to show him. You can see the "carpet" and baseboard along the wall along with all of the trash. I have seen many houses that looked like that before I retired.

I hope someone rescues it and gives it a good clean home.

Found this one today, way too funny. We sell our eggs to family and coworkers for $2 also so I can understand why they are offended that someone else is telling them what to sell thier stuff at. I just hope it is someone I know.

I posted the following ad on craigslist yesterday: http://utica.craigslist.org/grd/2454139952.html

I
am selling free range chicken eggs at reasonable prices however one man (NOT naming any names, locations or any personal info about this farmer) has told me that I am undercutting his prices. He wants me to jack up the price of eggs so that everyday people can't afford to purchase healthy eggs. The following are the emails that we have sent back and forth. You be the judge - DO YOU WANT TO BUY EGGS FROM HIM OR ME!

Email recived from him this morning:
Why would you sell free-range eggs for $2.00 a dozen? You can't make any money at that price and you hurt farmers who sell free-range eggs when you undercut their prices by that much. Do the math -- how much can you possibly make at $2.00 a dozen? Don't charge Walmart prices for something special.

Response to his 1st email:
We do this because we always have an extra dozen or so per day. We are not out to make millions. We would just like to have a little extra to put toward the cost of taking care of our chickens!
Also if you do any research you will find that $2 dozen for free range eggs in our area is what most people get and pay.

Email from him at Wednesday, June 22, 2011, 12:58 PM
Not at farmers markets -- or any where else

Response to his 2nd email:
The math is this:
100 lbs of cracked corn (as a supplement in inclement weather) from the local feed mill = $17 month
Feeding chicken's free range = FREE
Maintaining chicken coop = FREE (considering we do this ourselves)
The way we look at it is that if we sell only 1 dozen eggs per day we are making over $40 month!
WE ARE NOT a 100 acre farm tiring to make a living. WE ARE a family who enjoys fresh eggs! My husband and I have full time jobs and don't consider ourselves to be farmers (we just don't want the extra eggs to go to waste)!!
The way I look at it is this: Farmers like you who want to charge outrageous prices for good, healthy food are the ones who are WRONG! Most people can not and will not pay $3 and up for a dozen of eggs. Because of people like you, people like us - a middle class family, can't afford organic food! I know the benefits of eating healthy but unfortunately I can't afford to pay prices you want to charge, that is why we have our own chickens and grown our own garden!!
Thanks anyway for your advice but now that I think of it I might possibly drop my prices to $1.50 and include delivery just to undercut you and your farm further!
Thanks!

His 3rd email at Wednesday, June 22, 2011, 2:07 PM:
You're a fool. Try farming and see how it is. Go ahead. Deliver you eggs for $1.50. We'll see how long that lasts. You think farmers are getting rich? You are a fool.

And my response to the 3rd email:
I married into a family of farmers. My husband has worked on a farm since he was 10. We know plenty of farmers. I also know farming IS NOT an easy business.
I do know this - even though it might be raining and crappy outside right now, REAL farmers don't have time to be sitting on a computer complaining about things! I can tell you right now that my family and friends that are TRUE farmers are busting there butts right now! Maybe you can get rid of some of your overhead cost by firing one of your employees and doing the work that they are doing now!
I tried to be decent in my earlier emails however YOU JUST HAVE WAY TO MUCH TIME OF YOUR HANDS!!
Again thanks for the advice but I'll sell my eggs at prices I feel are reasonable and you can sell your eggs to the RICH because those are the only people who can afford to pay your prices!

Anyhow, I am now having a free range egg SALE!!
$1.50 dozen until the egg of the month ONLY

I feel very strongly about keeping costs down. I will not back down and raise my prices because someone else has to much overhead cost and too much time on their hands!!

Email me if interested in purchasing eggs from me and not HIM!
