Well, my birds didn't get raptured, and I don't want to keep them until October, so I still have laying hens for sale. I have: Isa Browns, Rhode Island Reds, Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, and Aracaunas (easter eggs chickens) sale. All are for sale for $6/each. but if you buy a lot of them I'll come down on the price.

Here's a white leghorn that lays a big brown egg.....

http://bloomington.craigslist.org/pet/2499265149.html

I have 4 hens that I have raised from 4 day old chicks that must find a new, forever, don't eat me because I'm a chicken home! These are my son's and my pets and not for food. Each has a name, can be picked up, follow you around the yard kinda girls. Let me emphasize... for eggs only! The owner of the rental next door is a creepy jerk, and will not sign my permit that the city must have for me to have city chickens. I don't get to screen his loud and disrespectful tenants that he over charges for his slum, I just get to find a new home for my hens. The 3 Rhode Island Reds were a year old in May, the white Leghorn was 2 years old in May. All lay beautiful and big brown eggs daily. Serious inquiries only, I'm not in the mood!
