I think there are a few exceptions but generally nothing that is native to your region.

and then there's the competing laws that say you can't keep any wild animals that *aren't* native you your area, because, you know, you might turn them loose and they'd take over the local environment.

so pretty much, you just can't keep critters.

ok, varies by your local and state laws, but there's a whole lot of can't out there.
 
We set up a Have-a-heart trap to catch the groundhogs in our yard before our shed collapses from their burrows. Unfortunately we woke up this morning to a skunk in our trap. If anyone wants to come take it off our hands- more than welcome!!

So what exactly are rhodesian reds? Chicken/dog mixes? Never heard of that before!!
