I'm trying to stay open minded here...I do understand the purpose, I do understand the need....it's just a little....you know....out of the norm. :/
How is this out of the norm ? Ever hear of a wet-nurse ?
I've "read" about wet nurses...you know, hired/used back in the olden days before mass produced formula. How is it out of the norm, you ask? Let's see...the definition of normal is: conforming to a standard, typical, usual, or expected. Synonyms: common, ordinary, standard, regular, usual...
All that said, I have a close friend who pumped for another friend when she started to "run dry". What is not normal (ie common or expected) is to see breast milk for sale on CL. Hence the shock of the original poster to have copied and put it on my thread and share in her own befuddlement. Breast milk for sale is indeed out of the norm.
