Why cant people spell Ameraucana right? *shakes head sadly* And, how hard is it to spell Cuckoo, too?

I've been to many different sites with a few different spellings. Same goes for books and web posts. My spell check gives no alternatives to it's misspellings either. I'm not even sure if, "Ameraucana "is the correct spelling.

I'm almost 40 and my family (whom are by blood and older than me) still can't spell MY name (first and last) so a name of an animal that has unusual spelling (and rather long) is not surprising to me.

Whine dot? Orfington? Bard? Will the resulting offspring be big annoying Shakespear-loving chicks?

For sale are 5 brown leghorns chickens, and 5 barred polymath rock chickens. They are 1 1/2 years old and are good laying hens.

Does "polymath" include "chicken math"?
