Thats not always true. You can adopt a rescue for as little as 0$. Rescues charge 300+ for "premium dogs " to help offset the cost of caring for the ones nobody seems to want to adopt.rescues charge $300+
My Bidet is a toilet too..
Quote: Evey rescue I have been to in the last few years will not let any dog go for less than $300 an these are not premium anything... I think the pound here is well over $100 to adopt a dog now too.

Well, you can come here and adopt a dog for 0$ all fees waived from a shelter. They'll even pay your licensing and hand you the vet records with a free comprehensive vet check to get you started. If you're up to it and you're pet is known to have epilepsy or need ongoing care they offer deep deep discounts on that too. We no longer have a pound that is open to the public as we have a 0 adopt policy for pitbulls in my area. All other dogs are turned over to the management of a local shelter if their owners don't come get them in 3 to 7 days. No license/no micro chip - surrendered after 72 hrs. / No claim on a licenses and chipped dog after 7 days - surrendered.Evey rescue I have been to in the last few years will not let any dog go for less than $300 an these are not premium anything... People are blind, that's what.
Quote: Why could be all the care they put into an animal and Altering is not cheap. The Humane Societies Charge 200 for Dogs why cant a rescuer that does not get the public help ? I do not raise dogs any longer since my sheltie died but i do raise cats . If you had any Idea what it takes to rehome a rescue you would understand , But i never rescue my same breed as i think its conflict of Interest and truthfully i have not seen a sheltie or a Pixie bob Pure blood in a rescue situation .
