(2) egg white should not disperse and spread in water when you put the egg into gentle boiling water
These gentle, young hens (Rhode Island Red and varieties such as Red sex-link etc.) produce large brown eggs and they are good companions to your kids or to yourself.
They come when you call and they circle you when you hold the their favorite food in hand.
They endure well during the summer heat as well as in rainy cold wind.
They like to eat greens (grass, weeds, vegetables), like to scratch the ground for bugs and stones, like to dust bath under the sun...
They will come when you approach them with food or simply call them with the sound they are familiar...
They are about 20 weeks old. Chickens are ready to lay at the age of 21/22 weeks. They produce smaller eggs in the beginning and gradually produce normal size eggs in about 4 weeks.
