Me either, but then I am not a 16 year old boy....which is who probably thought of it and posted it on the CL. And the person who brought it to our attention on the "you amuse me so much" thread might have seen a little humor in it, otherwise why post it here?

It's just an example of gallows humor. Not a good example, but not surprising. It's a way people deal with bad situations, a way to cope and move on.
By nature this sort of thing is insensitive and tasteless, and that is part of the attraction.

Probably just because this is a craigslist thread and that was a craigslist post. It's good to get the word around. I know that the shootings have been confirmed in my state, or at least they know something was going on. It's sad that people would spend their time destroying life instead of making it better.

Looking through the "pets" section of the newspaper today, I found several dogs who were spaded. Hmm...so they are garden safe? One poor beast was spaded and neutered. Poor thing.

Or when I see "Baby Docksund and Chiwawa mixes for sale- $750". Hmm... How many things wrong there?

He could always say he's selling the service of trapping and removing from the trap, and giving the raccoon itself for free.

Or selling the entertainment of watching him remove the animal from the trap. ?
