I had a turkey similar to that. She didn't scream, but she would look into the guest bedroom for hours if someone was in there. She wanted to be the first thing they say when pulling the blinds shut

I am wondering if the hen in the post is actually attempting a crow...rare, but it happens.

My friend has a hen that makes a lot of loud, crazy noises - which sound like a wild jungle soundtrack. She begins her cacophony around 5 am and continues until my friend goes outside to open the coop. (Thus training the hen that her ruckus works) I don't think the hen is evil - just used to getting what she wants from her human servant.
