Not CL, but in Tractor Supply the other day I saw a guy and his young son talking to the employee about getting “a” duck. When I heard him say “How long does one of these things last?”….

That's pretty funny, but at least he was thinking about it.

When I first got chickens, I didn't realize there were different lifespan expectations for different types of chicken, e.g. sex-link/ISA Browns vs. Orpington.

Everyone has to start somewhere.

It's the Easter thing. It's a very sad thing to do. That's why there's supposed to be laws in place protecting these birds. Now, from what I've seen, within the past five years the laws have changed...
