That was absolutely hilarious!!! I have to repost to ensure that Bob lives on in perpetuity.
Meet our man Bob #1. He was a sweet child, our only boy, and the biggest of all our 12 Bobs. Once the prodigal son, Bobs good fortune has taken a turn and hes at the threshold of a brand new chapter in his E-True-Hollywood story.
Dont let Bobs shabby shape fool you. Yes, he has been plucked half bald in a vicious pseudo-feminist revolution of hen-pecking beat-down at the hands (beaks) of his former harem. And Yes, he pretty much had it coming as hes not exactly suave and tender with the ladies. Yes again- the tips of all of his funny-named red facial features are rounded off stubby from a -35F frostbite. But fear not any false advertising when I tell you that his face looks better than ever after fully healing from the frostbite- and many Well-To-Do fowl are spending good money on the same cosmetic procedure Bob got for free this winter. Also, Bob comes from a very proud Old-Mill Feed Store bloodline, and in his recent segregation is already on the road to recovering his once dashing and handsome Barred-Rock plume. Plus, Hes almost 1 year old- Hes a big ol guy- and he can crow with the best of em.
I could tell you what a joy Bob is to be around, but hes not exactly a gracious host or neighbor. Having said that, those who are at all familiar with the social graces of roosters would agree that hes no worse than a 4 on a scale of 1 to10 when it comes to being an aggressive jerk or a torturer of small children. Maybe a 5. A 6 at the absolute worst, but only towards certain randomly selected people that he may hold an arbitrary personal grudge against. Seriously, Ive had much meaner roosters and I honestly rate him a 4 on the A-hole scale.
Bob is free to a good home. I wish I could say that we love Bob and are prepared to conduct thorough background checks to insure that Bob is going to retire as the herd-cock on some heavenly poultry retirement farm. But the truth is, life around our chicken coop is so magnificently harmonious since Bobs excommunication to the garden plot that there is no going home for Bob. Our garden plot is soon to become a garden and our man Bob, sadly, must GO. Bob is free to a marginal home. Bob is free to a bad home. Bob is free to you if you would discreetly decide to boil, bake, or fry him, train your bird dogs with him, or use him for some type of Mythbusters experiment. May the Good Lord be with our dear brother Bob, but it wont be here.
Step up and give our Bob a shot. Think of all the sadists and perverts trolling the internet who are sure to read this ad in the very near future, and what types of sinister plans they might come up with for Bobs unnecessary and cruel demise. Bobs life is in YOUR hands. Ask yourself, What Rooster Would Jesus Save? Help me Obi-won-Kanobi, youre Bobs only hope. For the love of Bob, CALL TODAY!

We have a variety of poultry we need to get rid of, because of problems with the neighbors. All birds are standards. There are some rare breeds.
Buff Wyandotte rooster, Buff orpington rooster, Americana rooster (blue/green egg genes), White and red silky bantam roosters, Partridge silky/cochen rooster (green egg genes), Welsummer rooster, Naked neck rooster, Belguim qual, Black aupsterlorps rooster, Cuckoo maran rooster. Most birds are from eastern ontario. The hens are available if the price is right. Or trade for polish hens. Contact John. More pictures coming soon.
So to which parent can we attribute the green egg genes?
