I know you midwesterners have it worse than we do in the Northeast, but 3 degrees at noon with minus 20 on the way for tonight is downright insane. Tomorrow it is supposed to be colder. Wahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Heading up to our ski cabin tonight for the long weekend. I see myself only engaged in Apres-ski the whole weekend.

Stay warm whomever is sharing this frigid fate....

the big coop is 10* inside.

the company my DH and me work for almost moved us to the Virgin Islands. i was so glad we didn't at the time. now i'm thinking that hurricanes aren't a big deal....

I actually hope we get some lake-effect snow tonight. Probably will keep it 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the predicted neg 25 F.

Yep, here we have -9f and wind chills around -30f...last night it was -19f with wind chills of -40f....tonight more of the same....

My temp in the coop this morning was +10, and that was with 2 heat lamps going.

Spring is getting closer eh?

Well i can't imagine the coldness ya'll have but I can say that the 17 deg. here and the -1 tonight is going to suck. I pulled out the ole camper and put my truck in the garage for tonight. Ya'll stay warm up there. It may be time for a florida vacation.
