Ok Im on day 5 today-all has been great thus far

whats in bator

2 of my olive eggs
4 of my EE eggs
7 split lav Amaracauna eggs from SummerwindNC
17 of my split lav silkie eggs
17 standard cochin eggs from Lockedhearts ( I broke 2 :-( )
4 standard cochin eggs of mine
6 frizzled polish from baregretchen

Im candeling tonight-Ill post results..

UPDATE FROM 1ST CANDELING!!!

2 olive eggs-growing

4 EE eggs -growing
7 amaracauna SPLIT lav 4/7 I think
17 Split lav silkie-ALL OF THEM VEINING!!!!
17-st.cochin too early set them 2 days later than others
4-st.cochin-2/4--threw 2 away to maker oom for others in there ( the 2 that were growing very obvious)
6-frizzled 4/6 so far-threw 2 away-oozing clear liquid

so far wow..big hatch coming my way

UPDATE 2/15/2010

2 olive eggs still growing -really dark
4 EE eggs still growing
4/7 Amaracauna eggs still I think
15/17 SPlit lav silkies pulled 2 quiters
17 st cochin eggs-alot of early quitters or clears but left them all in just in case
2/4 of my own cochins-1 more ealry quitter:-(
2/6 frizzled polish-down to 2 eggs 2 more quitters/blood rings

I have about fifteen in the hatcher, due any time, and just counted today, about sixty loose on the floor in the hovabator below. Copper Black Marans, SQ Dark Brahmas, Blue/Black silkies/ ,white silkie x showgirl, Mottled Javas, Blue Ameraucanas, Mille Fleur project bantam cochins, Barred Olive Eggers, Blue split lavender Ameraucana eggs, (I know, I know, don't mix blue and lav. It was my only shot so I took it!) Plus a muscovy hen setting a clutch of around ten or twelve eggs. not sure how many. Those due March 2nd or so... Good thing I live where people buy stuff!
