Oh Lord I'm at it again 57 eggs- hatch date Feb 27th 3rd hatch in 2010

I like to do a few random ones when its early so I don't lose the temps or humidity. Then at day 17 or 18 I candle them all just before lockdown.

Well...just candled.....I have 44/58 Orp eggs
10/12 RIR (own stock)
14/17 Black Rosecombs
4 MFC's....

Still looks like I will have a pretty good hatch! About a week and a half left....

LOL, I was just gonna pm you and ask you "what is wrong with me?!" when I saw this post. Don't know how I missed it before. I have the 40+ I told you about coming, and just bought another 12. And I'm eyeing yet another auction. My family is gonna KILL ME!!! I don't have room for all these chickens, even with the new coops. Sure hope I don't have any trouble selling some, or I'm in big trouble. I think you are still ahead of me though.

I made a mistake though. I have the silkie eggs coming from oldtimegator, she shipped them on friday. I FORGOT there was no mail today. I went to the PO, hoping they were in, and it was dark. Oh man, what kind of a stupid holiday is President's day anyways? And why can't the g-ment work on that day? So I'm just hoping my babies can hold on 1 more day, and be thankful they are eggs, and not chicks.

Sounds like your hatch is doing pretty good so far, and don't sweat the 104, mine spiked to like 113 on my very first hatch, and most of them hatched out still. Darn near gave me a heart-attack though. This will be my only hatches though, unless I sell a whole lot of chickens. Carrie

That sounds wonderful Natalie! I have (or will have any day now), 2 bators, an LG that has served me well, and a Genesis that should be in tomorrow or wednesday. Definately have the room in the bator. Which is a really good thing, since I ended up bidding and winning on that auction I mentioned. 8 Silkie eggs from SunshineSilkies. If the eggs from Oldtimegator do ok after sitting in shipment, I'll be swimming in silkies. Luckily some of them are for a customer. I'm looking forward to your eggs the most I think, mom and I both adore the cochins best of all. Not that we don't love the others, but the cochins seem to hold a special place if you know what I mean. Anyways, got to get to bed, 3:30 comes early. Hope all you hatchers have a great night.
