I love me a good flash mob!

I got to participate in one 2 weeks ago. i was at a zombie birthday party (don't ask) and we ran out of mixers & beer. So 15 zombies shambled around the grocery store, moaned, and grappled for brains (while trying really, relaly, hard not to giggle).

I love flash mobs and I am bizarrely glad to see them coming back!!

They vanished after 9/11 and then i was glad to see them go (I thought they were just stupid) but now I see them for what they represent: prosperity, security, the ability to do things for little to no real reason and with no fear.

The fact that they are happening in China is hysterical to me!

It must drive the Chinese authorities nuts!! They had one a few months back that really was a protest. They banned protests so the people had a "stroll". Thousands of people walking very, very slowly.... during rush hour!

Usually a flash mob gives you enough notice that you can get "supplies"


my fav is the frozen grand central, but like the chicken one it isn't a true flash mob - its an improv group. Fun nonetheless.

Oh look for the flashmob (also planned) where they dance in an underground station i think in Liverpool?? Just makes you smile.
