Picklestix, it is not hard at all to ship eggs. just have to wrap them well and box them up.
shipping costs vary on what method they are shipped ( i do Priority)and how far the package is going and the weight of said package. all in all, it's not uber expensive and YES! it's so fun!

Why do I need an instant farm yard? My cousin is getting married and it is tradition to give chicks to newly weds in our family. Also i have never had turkeys. My ducks need a wider gene pool and i want a rooster for my hens before they get too old.

Do you have a guestimate on how much 12 little Silkie eggs would cost to ship? If you have no idea, thats okay too. I'm just wondering. I know of a deserving person who has contacted me before and I would love to help her out.
Thanks!

#1 I need these eggs because I just bought a sportsman that I drove 18 hours round trip to get and want to see how it does on different kinds of eggs!
#2 I don't have any birds other than chickens and want to expand.
#3 Just because I am a hatchaholic and love watching the fuzzy butts grow!

My six-year old daughter would love to hatch some eggs because a hawk took two of her favorite birds earlier this week. Since then, we've secured the area and she still misses her chickens
