Oh my............ a double yolk is growing. Advice please.

My husband cracked open a large egg for breakfast that my silkie had laid over the weekend. Lo & behold it is a double yolk! I'd had no idea. Soooooo realizing I'd set one this size in my incubator a couple of days befor....... I candled it last night to see if maybe it was a double. Yes, it is and it is already forming. Oh I know this is gonna be hard because I'd read the last thread which did turn out successful. but I understand it isn't the norm.
Is it Speckledhen who also had a double come to hatch date?
I could use some hints/tips and advice from those having experienced this please.

Like hatching is ever easy to even begin with....ugh.

I will await your pearls of wisdom my poultry friends.

good luck! i get double yolkers all the time from my girls also..i am so afraid of this happening to me also!

hanks, have a feeling I will Need it!
I am just such a "perfectionist" that it is already stressing me out that chances are i can't pull it off.

keep an eye on it ,prepare for the worst and hope for the best. You might have to assist them at hatch day.
