OH MY GOODNESS, bear went through my neigbors coop!

I am babysitting in town and my cousin/neighbors coop was mauld by a bear! right through the side! my chickens are loose, my mom is trying to get them all in the coop. Was the bear going after her chickens or the little bit of feed in her coop?

lucky her mom spotted the bear before it got in all the way, she said it was a big bear

By the way I have black bears in my area. Is it doing for the chickens or feed?

oh well luckly nothing was harmed but the chickens at her house got out.

Once they find a source of food they will be back and may bring company.
