Oh, I'm totally jealous now! I want a Nook sooooooooooooooooooo bad. Nothing will replace a book in the hand, but there is room in my geeky heart for both trade paperbacks and a handy electronic device.

I've downloaded a slew of free books on my nook. Including the new bestseller "Altar of Eden". Much easier than waiting for a hold at the library. There are usually 4 or 5 pages of free ebooks at B&N. Google free ebooks and see how many are available there as well.

It was my 1/2 Christmas 1/2 Birthday (Jan.) present so I had to be quite patient! Now only three more days!

Call me OLD SCHOOL - - - but I like the book in my hand.
I like to read while I soak in the tub - - - - don't see the electronic do dad thing making it through the bath bubbles - - -

Also, I am not so old that I can not appreciate some technology. I LOVE BOOKS ON CD. You know you live in the country when you can't wait to get in the car to go to work just so you can finish the next CD for the book you are listening too.


Those "city" people who only live minutes from work - - - never get to finish a book on CD ! ! !
