Oh, Nifty! How could you?

I haven't seen a KFC ad on here but I wouldn't really like to. KFC is definitely the opposite of backyard chickens.

Because I do not eat my own chickens, I do still eat KFC. After I finish the feast of gluttony (mmmmmm, fried stuff!) I take the bucket outside and joke-threaten the flock with it, telling them they better continue to be good chickens or this is their fate!

They want the leavings for their own treats. Doesn't seem to scare 'em in the least.

And ya, the Google ads are outside-generated, not under Nifty's control.

KFC doesn't raise their own chickens, they buy from suppliers. So you can't blame them for mis treating their chickens like some do because they have none...

If I could cook chicken like KFC more of mine might be in danger.....

I don't eat my pets, be they cat, dog or chicken... but I have raised chickens for meat in the past, and will again in the near future.

You just have to get in the mind set that they are not pets. that said, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work for us with a cow... we would have an 800lb pet.

I so admire people that raise their own animals for food. To know that they were raised ethically must be very gratifying.
