Here's a link to another post, you can see my BO and Andalusian with how it starts out white and then turns black, look at the bottom of the wattles on my BO, its turning black. It takes time. Its now 31-32 degrees farenheit now, the decline of the full moon, rain and snow so this weekend, I'll be dubbing combs and wattles. I won't allow them to suffer further and was thinking I'd give up on the breed but now I don't have to as long as I dub. Our winter is just beginning and if the coop wasn't so big, it would be warmer inside. I have to have the electricity wired properly next year so it doesn't trip off when the truck in plugged in. That's what happened w/mine, the electricity tripped off while I was asleep overnight when I tried turning the heaters up higher.
