Thanks everyone! She is definitely way too cute! All is going well today but I can tell she is lonely. She sits in front of her mirror with her little duster cheeping whenever she hears us outside the door. I need to figure out a safe way to get her into another part of the house so she has more interaction. I have her in my daughter's bathroom now since the door is always shut and it's draft free. I want to make sure this first week goes well. I'm such a worry wart Mommy

Oh how cute!!!!

I have a singular chick as well and it's turning into a right little mama's baby. She has a yellow snugglie I got from the bird store for my budgie originally. I find I can put her on the floor and go about my chores and she follows me all around the house. Just gotta watch your feet!

Thank you! It is an effort that is for sure, but I don't mind. I raise special need chicks/chickens so it's not too much different time wise. Right now, he's down there cheeping his head off. He wants to be held and played with, sigh. I take him out for awhile but I'm terrified to keep him out of the heat too long. He has been chest bumping the chicks in the mirror lol and ripping apart his ostrich friend. We think he's figured it all out

Unfortunately, in my house I'd have to watch the cats and the dogs too LOL I'm positive he is going to be my "carry around" chicken for sure.
