Oh no I lost the love! Can you all help?

If your geese are that bad... I would probably recommend selling them, and if you wanted to, try another batch of goslings. I sit down with my geese all of the time and I never have any trouble with them... What breed of geese do you have? I have heard that chinese geese can become pretty mean but I wouldn't know... I love my birds to death, but I have had some mean animals, (mainly roosters and billy goats) that would attack everyone that came near them... so I had to sell, there is no use fighting a losing battle especially when you are getting hurt in the process...

I totally understand why you are having a hard time letting them go... every animal I sell, has a little part of myself that goes with them, but I tell myself it's for the better...

Good Luck!

Yeah -- I'd hesitate to sit down at face-level with them, too.

My white Chinese, Kow-Kow, has been such a cutie until a couple months ago. He's hit adolescence, apparently, and has the accompanying surging hormones. I wish I could find a local person with a goose for sale just so he'd have some company. I'm more of a chicken and duck person. I'll have to move him to a seperate pen when my ducklings are ready to go outside -- I just don't trust the bugger anymore -- especially with my newly hatched ducklings.

He used to follow us around the yard and be very affetionate, even with the kids...NOW if he's following you, you'd better watch out!
