haha, my ex-bats are fine with me now (it took a long time to get to that stage though!) I can go and sit in the run with them and they love to come over and see what I'm up to, or what food I have bought for them but if my husband comes out to see where I am they all run and hide in the coop and wont come out until he goes away! To be fair the feeling is pretty mutual I think. This is useful when It comes to putting them to bed. If they aren't in the coop I just send DH round the front and shut the door when they've all gone in!
On an aside, I noticed the 2 little 'wyandottes' also have tiny small feathers between their middle and last toes. Could they be mixed with cochins?
