OH NO, I'm starting to name my chickens

It's an Easter Egger. You can tell by the fuffy checks.

Hayden it is. Thanks

lol... I had this problem with a rabbit I bought for snake food.. My soon kept playing with it and we ended up naming it " lucky "... Well, one day I was cleaning out my snakes cage and Lucky ( who just ran around wild ) decided to run in the snakes cage.. Not so lucky anymore..

Well, our pigs are named Jimmy and Dean so they can be eaten.

These chickens really aren't going to get eaten, at least not by me, so I guess it's ok to name them. I sell them at about 18 months old.

I stopped naming mine because those seemed to be the ones eaten by varmits. WE have a couple that do have names because well the name just follows them....like Dumpling our Cornish Cross Rooster. He is big and white and very slow moving kinda like a dumpling in chicken-n-dumplings just bobing along.
