Oh No...Quail with an issue...help please

DD just brought in one of her coturnix. Held her upside down so I could look at her butt and says 'I think we have a problem'.

Yep, we got a problem but I dont know what to do so help please...

Looks like a prolapse, but I have never seen one so I dont know for sure. All I know is there is a 'blob' of stuff hanging out and it looks gross.

Any advice?

Maybe try to treat it the same way as a chicken prolapse..(which i dont know how to do either) I remember something about using prep. H though..Sorry! Maybe try to search for prolapse on here until someone who knows how to help steps in. Good luck!

You would treat it the same as a chicken prolapse. I've only had one quail with a prolapse, and she didn't survive.
