I actually found something at Tractor Supply I think I am going to try....its a corn cob holder. Actually made for squirels but its like a spring that holds the whole cob.....looks like it would be entertaining to watch them eat from

We had to somehow limit how much he gave to the girls as they were getting fat and not laying so well. I told him to just hang two a week near each coop. That way they don't get SO MUCH, and he gets some entertainment too when he comes to sneak (with our blessing) some eggs. If you hang them higher they will jump and attack. They get lots of exercise just trying to get some corn. Bet it would work wonderful with sweet corn.

I am so glad I found this thread! My poor babies were attacked by blueberries last night! I'm too afraid to go out and see the carnage today.....

mine had a vicous bloody fight with a cabbage last night...until someone pecked it and discovered that cabbage actually tastes quite good lol

Apparently, however, steak is not the least bit frightening.

About half of them grabbed a chunk, and the other half chased them around the pen trying to get it. Then they'd go back for more chunks. It seems the brahma got the last one because I just looked out and she's racing around, honking like a goose, with the entire brat pack after her.

omg.... someone else who spoils their babies as much as me....... that's funny. did you at least cook it for them first? and apply butter sparingly? lightly salt and pepper??? make sure it was JUST the right temp??????
