This thread made me giggle. I LOVE reading about all of your chickens and their snacks. My little flock lives in a yard outside my back door. We throw leftovers (mostly vegetables and fruits) out for them a few times a week. My mother (who also lives on the property) would feed them every day if she could, but I limit it some because they tend to get runny poo when they have too much fruit. haha

I could sit for hours watching my chickens eat snacks. It makes me smile and laugh. I love watching the pecking order. My favorite is when one hen grabs something and takes off like a bullet to get away from the others. Usually it's someone closer to the bottom of the pecking order that does this, so I always cheer for her when she escapes victorious. lol

I'm assuming everyone is referring to COOKED corn on the cob.................it's the only way mine will eat it!

well of course it has to be cooked. wouldnt want the raw stuff to bother their little tum tums!!!
