Oh no you don't!!

It would only be to satisfy my curiosity. Probably a raccoon, which has no chance of getting in, unless a human opens the door

My 70 pound dog keeps most ground predators at bay.

My coop and run were built to keep out my worst nightmare.

In my neck of the woods, that would be a +200 pound loose dog...which no one that I know of has in the neighborhood.

I sleep with both eyes closed ...

This is my first coop and run, and we lost 3 roosters before we finished building, but none since. So my curiosity was already up to know what was coming around. Plus as I said we have the cameras for deer so it was easy. If a 200+ dog ever shows up, I might be calling you! Haha

I was at war with mother nature for quite some time.

Win a battle, lose a battle.

Way too many loses on both sides.

I found my energies better spent on building a strong defence.

I don't even think about predators anymore.

My avitar is a reminder of my very last capture, he was just a baby.

Held him captive till I finished my reinforcements, then released him knowing he was now no longer my enemy nor threat.

He left with a full belly of my dogs food, lamb and rice, not chicken

He returned often, but left unsatisfied.

That's awesome! Maybe its him that triggers your light sometimes. Just checking to see if you left a door open for him! Lol
