Oh Noes!!!!!

Everytime i get on BYC now my Computer System goes so slow, Then it says BYC has a Virus.? Any Ideahs? I go back on my Pages, I only use one Tab, (wich has never went slow before)! So does anyone know what could cause this all of a sudden? because if it doesnt stop, I may have to stop getting on BYC

*GASP*!!!! I don't know what to do, but PLEASE DON'T STOP ON BYC!!!! Do you think that maybe you got a virus from another site?

I don't know about technical gismo thingies... but BYC is definitely not a virus carrier. Too many of us on here that don't have any troubles.
So... something is making up lies to you.. and it's likely that same somehing is what's causing your pc to run slowly.
Either A: You have a virus that is pretending to give you warnings. Or B: You have some version of anti-virus software that is being insanely over-protective and clogging up the works.
I have noticed a pattern with my past PC's. That is, every time I load and expensive or in-expensive anti-virus software.. a few months down the road my pc starts clogging up and eventually fails. Aol, too.
So with this brand new laptop... I didn't load a darn thing in the way of protection software... and Internet explorer only. 6 months later and my pc is going along fabulously! I can even have a gazillion tabs up at the same time and not have to close anything.. I have only shut it down for the night maybe twice... and it's still as fast as the day I got it!

I am just really, really, careful about what I click on and thanking God that no virus tries to attack me! Because I don't think 'protection' is worth it if it is responsible for the death of the pc anyway!

We have all the new Upgrades, Scans, everything, We run them everynight we get offline, Everything was fine until today.? I have no clue! When i got on byc, about 1min (if that) later the Comp screen went Blue, Said this site had a Major Virus, Then restarted, But now its working fine (trying to make me look like a liar)? I have no ideah whats wrong!

We haven't received any other reports of problems, but we take these things very seriously. When you see notes of a virus please reply with:

1) The browser / version you are using
2) The name of the virus program you are using
3) The exact error message and notes that your virus program shows
4) The time and day the problem started
