Oh, so many scams...

Oh, I remembered one I did fall for.... Kinda.. One of those dumb time share things where you pay $299.00 for a condo on the ski lift for a weekend... Catch was, sitting through an 8 hour "advertisement" lecture. And a 72 hour cancellation policy with a full refund.

Right :p As soon as I figured out the 8 hour lecture, which they hid from my until I paid and they sent an itinerary, I called to cancel, and they obliged... But then I didn't get my money back. A week went by with no refund, so I called to tell them if they were going to keep my money, then I would go ahead and keep my arrangement, and again, they obliged and confirmed my reservation..

I show up, and you guessed it, they wanted their $299.99 lol... I tried everything aside from siccing the dog on them lol; I even showed them my paid invoice, and reservation, then they suggested next time, I just cancel and get a refund. SMH. :p

Thanks for sharing that one Blooie and taking the time to write out the whole scenario. Man, that was a sneaky one!
I got a call from "Microsoft" before and realized right away that it was a scam so I played along...hehehe
I pretended like I was at my computer clicking all the things they wanted me to click. After a while the man was like "ma'am are you at your computer?" I said yes, he was all puzzled and finally hung up on me. LOL Another time I got the call and I said I didn't have a computer and the guy couldn't believe me. Then I started to tell him that I was a Christian and computers were from the devil, yeah that guy hung up too! I haven't gotten a call since! I love scams! I mess with them! Hehehe

MeepBeep is correct. I show dogs and we fly them all the time. Including internationally. I suggest if you want to purchase a dog from a legitimate source start with the American Kennel Club. They have a list of all reconciled breed clubs. Find a dog show in your area and meet the folks that have the breed your interested.

I would say beware of mail order dogs, most times if they aren't a legitimate breeder they are a puppy mill, in Wisconsin people who breed more than a set number of dogs a year are required to obtain a license, which to me is a dead give away, I believe you should always see where your dog is coming from, I have bought from legitimate breeders and they all seem to be delusional about their dogs, so always check out your sources, you don't want to encourage animal suffering or overbreeding.
