I was having a pretty good day. I mean I donated my lone Zebra Finch to a old science teacher for a class pet and he was pretty nice and went to go pick up my dad. Well on the way home a bunch of Turkeys were crossing the road up ahead and this truck going 100 miles an hour drives RIGHT THROUGH THIS FAMILY OF TURKEYS! LIKE 10-15 TURKEYS! I see his face driving by A BIG FAT STUPID GRIN ON HIS D***** FACE! LIKE "LOOK AT ME! LETS SEE HOW MANY OF THESE TURKEYS I CAN BOWL OVER!!" I flipped him the bird, and driving by there is a baby turkey flopping on the side of the road bleeding to death looked to be a couple months old had all its feathers in almost full size turkey. I jumped out of the car before it was even done moving and scooped this baby up to see the damage. Nothing I could do for the poor thing just broke its back and I felt so helpless sitting there. I just restrained it in my arms and held its head up until it died in my arms. I went back in the woods and set it down because I didn't want any scavengers near the road getting hit either. I walked back to the car covered in Turkey's blood, and I can hear the whole family of turkeys in the woods going balistic trying to find each other. Oh what I would do if I could catch this guy! I can't even mention the things I would do on this site. Now I think I have poison ivy from taking the turkey back into the woods but it was worth it to save any stray coyotee or fox.
