Oh, when does the madness end!

Does it ever end!!!! First Chickens, different breeds, then mallards, now I want Muscovy ........ now I discover. . .. PILGRIM GEESE! Oh, they are soooo pretty and sweet! I want some!!!!

I now have emails out to a breeder in IN of Muscovies and one to a poss. IN breeder of Pilgrim Geese. Geesh! DH said he would build me a duck house. Can two geese live with the chickens? Could they share a duck house w Muscovy? Geese instead of ducks?

Speaking of quail - DH and I were making a run out to a Amish Country store this afternoon and saw about a dozen wild quail running across the road. It was pretty exciting to see them out running wild and I mentioned to DH that we could raise some for ourselves to eat or set free!

It seems to be a progressive madness.
It started with my laying hens, then husband got a roo.

Now we're thinking meat birds.

Quail might be nice...pretty eggs too.

Buttons are to tiny to eat but there are tons of folks on here with nice meat quails!
