Some of us are retired. Tomorrow I have a big day watching my granddaughter who is on Christmas vacation. We probably will do a tough day of constant cartoons.

I love what I do (ICU nurse), but as tonight is my 6th night in a row, I am Veerrrrryyyyy excited to not be going to work tomarrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We fall into the retired category but we aren't your typical retirees. My husband is medically retired from his job and I haven't worked for several years. Our kids are young and we are constantly reminding ourselves how lucky we are to be able to spend these years with our children.

DH will go to work at 5 PM tonight (get off at 3 AM). Today is his "Friday". He'll be off Tuesday thru Friday; he took Friday off as his birthday. Then he starts a seven day week. It'll be a very lonely week for me. I can't wait till he retires...if he ever does.
