Thanks and I hope that you did too. I had some mulch I was going to put down but they say to put your hand on it and see how it feels to you before using it for your ducks. I tried that and it felt like splinter on my hand so I refused to use it for them. I was afraid it would splinter those webbed feet and hurt them. I am glad you have something that works well for you.Its nothing that adding a layer of woodchips won't fix. Have a great day today.
I get the large shavings of woodchips from my local Metroparks to avoid chances for splinters. Thanks and I hope that you did too. That is great. Do they sell it bagged or do you have a truck? I don't have a truck.I get the large shavings of woodchips from my local Metroparks to avoid chances for splinters.
I normally drive to the area where they dump their woodchips and load my truck up. I did, however, found a posting for free woodchips (22 tons) on Facebook Marketplace, and got free delivery. That is great. Do they sell it bagged or do you have a truck? I don't have a truck.
Also, look up ChipDrop. You can be put on a list that landscapers and arborists monitor looking for places to offload woodchips for free. That is great. Do they sell it bagged or do you have a truck? I don't have a truck.
Wow, that was a great deal. Do the woodchips have to be removed when they get too soiled or do they just wash off with rain?I normally drive to the area where they dump their woodchips and load my truck up. I actually leave the wood chips to naturally decompose and become dirt over time. As it gets soiled, I just add another layer of chips on top. If it gets too piled up, you can dig up the excess and use the great fertile dirt in the garden.Wow, that was a great deal. Do the woodchips have to be removed when they get too soiled or do they just wash off with rain?
