It is a waiting game, but after informing myself, I see the similarities with it probably being a freedom ranger. I'm also starting to think it could be either male or female. It is definitely young, but knowing the weight would help more.

Have you attempted to weigh the bird? If you haven't, weigh yourself and then weigh yourself holding the bird and take the different for the bird's weight.

The feathers look rounded like a pullet, but it may be early. I would wait long to tell. Are there any other people nearby with chickens?

Next week we will take her to a chicken farmer in Long Island. It’s a couple of hours away from us in Brooklyn, but he said he could help us determine her (hopefully) gender!
