I am in Ada, near Lima. I am looking for some good quality silkie hatching eggs. My pet quality hen just went broody(yes in this heat wave) and I want to put some better quality eggs under for her to raise. I am interested in white, paint or black-blue-splash. Even if you just know someone in Ohio I can get some from send them to me or pm me with their info. I am willing to drive. I just have no luck with shipped eggs. Thanks

For future buying....I would love to know who has/sells Americanas, (not EEs) Speckled Sussex, Black Copper Marans and Australourps here in Ohio. The closer to me the better. I live near Richwood - Marysville area.

I need a little help. I have an order of 35 dozen eggs by Wednesday. Does anyone have brown eggs, by free ranged or pasture raised (run must have grass) non medicated hens that is reasonably close to me in Coshocton? Is anyone getting rid of their 1 year old hens yet?

Just traveled 2.5 hours to pick up 50 "point of lay pullets". They look awful young to me but since working with meaties all summer, who knows? I DO know they will lay quicker than the 82 eggs I put in the incubator Thursday. Til then I will buy eggs to deliver and keep the account.
