OHio ~ Come on Buckeyes, let me know your out there!

It should be fine. I'd give them a heat lamp for a few days to ease the transition, if you possibly can, or put them out when there's supposed to be a few days of warmer weather. Just rushed to get my 5 week olds out to their new pen this weekend, so they'd have this spate of warm weather to acclimate.

Rocks and Australorps are notoriously hardy :) I've never kept EEs, so I don't have any first-hand experience with them! On the size issue, I know my Aussies grew faster than my rocks did, but it wasn't that huge a difference. Can the rocks get to the feed okay, or are the others keeping them at bay?

Ok.. Thank you for your input! :)

I'll have to take pics of the girls for size comparison. The Rocks are small but are feisty birds. They eat well and don't seem to notice they are smaller.

Sorry I missed you guys. Got to talking to folks inside and it was past 1:00 when I checked my phone. Saw some folks checking out silkies, but didn't notice the hat. There were a couple of us with American Buckeye Club shirts on, so if you didn't come up and introduce yourself, I can understand why. Met a lot of nice folks there and saw some nice chickens (and a couple interesting looking turkeys as well).
I was talking to a few guys from the Buckeye club that were really nice and informative. Great bunch!

The show was awesome as always! LOTS of birds, lots of people, and lots of fun. I did meet up with some of us at 1;00 and had a nice time talking with you guys! ok, so now I need to put your face with your screen name.... lolol

Hi Fishnet! It was great to get together--it should be an annual event. I'm the one with the Araucanas.
