Okay. It is official.

My chicks are set for April 8th.

We are visiting friends up near Meyer's and we are getting a mixed flock of one each:
Barred Rock
Golden Laced Wyandotte
Buckeye
Welsummer
Salmon Faverolle
Black Australorp
Golden Buff

I finally get to post pics of MY chicks and brooder and coop!!!

I know it sounds silly but I have even started talking to the dogs about the babies coming!!

TSC had brooder lights on sale yesterday and that was my last item on the list.

I am not sure how to load pics to the site from my iPhone or iPad as I've not been successful in the past. I will have to check out that forum to see if is me or I have to switch to loading the pics up to my husbands laptop.

Dogs are great listeners! My non-chicken loving friends get tired of hearing about my chickens. I should probably think about sharing more with our dogs and stop oring my friends, even tho i find our flock endlessly fascinating!
I have a hard time with the forum and uploading on the iPad. I'll check stuff on it but if I am going to upload a pic, I switch over to the laptop.
