I've been given the go-ahead by dh to get more chicks!

Does anyone have any? Looking for good layers but something different from what I have. I don't want to travel too much further and about 1.5hrs from Newark.

I was still looking for Speckled Sussex chicks and my cousin sent me this link. Too far for me but I know they are selling the last of their chicks at really low prices. Since you are closer might be worth checking out. Have fun picking out your new babies!

Do you have bearded Showgirls by chance? If so, do you ship "egglets"?

I do! I have a bearded, bowtie partridge roo. I have a test batch in the 'bator right now from him, due to hatch out the beginning of May. I will let you know what he is producing...I'm hoping for bearded partridge

And yes, I do ship egglets - or I can meet you at a halfway point if you would like. The chicks will also be for sale....

Thanks everyone I do have a couple BR testing broodiness out haha If the decide to do it I will have pullets and since production is picking up quite likely some eggs also. What part of OH are you in? Bearded partridges sound adorable

Marengo area, just north of C-bus. I work in C-bus so it's no problem arranging meeting spots.

I just love the Showgirls! My parti roo is in with a couple of bearded silkie parti girls...I'm excited to see what he produces. I also have non-bearded, bow tied black and blue showgirls that are super tiny and really nice. My original breeding pair is very small and their offspring are as well. So much fun to watch!
